A Story of Transformation

Meet Karina
Karina became a mother at 16 while growing up in a home affected by addiction and instability. After leaving high school and experiencing abusive relationships, she faced limited opportunities for a better future.
Through Fristers, Karina found encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful support. She completed parenting and life skills classes, finished high school, explored college opportunities, and proudly graduated from the Fristers program.
Today, Karina is thriving. She holds a full-time managerial position, recently purchased her first home, and is raising three happy, healthy children. And she remains involved with Fristers, volunteering and sharing her story at events to inspire others.
