At Fristers, we are fueled by faith and committed to transforming the lives of teen parents by providing the education, resources, and support they need to build healthy, stable families. Guided by Christian values, our programs offer free, comprehensive services designed to empower young moms, dads, and their children.
Pregnant and parenting teens are a vulnerable population. Without appropriate intervention, young parents are at risk of:
- Dropping out of high school, which limits their ability to secure stable employment and provide for their family.
- Struggling to parent effectively with little to no support, increasing the likelihood of child neglect or abuse.
- Experiencing depression and hopelessness, which can lead to isolation, intimate partner violence, and substance abuse.
Additionally, their children also face risks, including maltreatment as well as emotional, physical, behavioral, and social challenges.
